Insurance Updates and More

I am writing this late in the evening on Labor Day.

It has been quite a lovely weekend for our family, and I hope the end of Summer has been a good one for yourself, filled with lots of love and memories.

We continue to explore the natural beauty of the Outdoors in New Hampshire, something I seem to have a good knack for finding.  We found many lovely spots, some by accident, others by a guidebook.  Miller State Park is the family favorite, and the Migrating Bird scientists are up there now through nearly Thanksgiving, counting large birds as they pass by on their migration patterns.  How magical.  We were up to Alstead and Keene, to Miller State Park, and were going to a nearby Lake when we decided to visit a local Audubon Sanctuary (This is near Hancock) only to find the pond was an extremely popular swimming hole and canoe spot, so we skipped the other lake and stayed in that rather magical water all day.  So, up and down across the state all weekend.

Veterans Care

In clinical news, as I did suspect, we have some changes of status with our insurances.  We are now able to process VA insurance through the Community Care Network (CCN).  This is a wonderful opportunity for us and for our community Vets.  Through the Community Care Program, vets are able to receive acupuncture at no cost whatsoever.  The steps needed to be seen in our clinic are that the vet has to ask their local VA Office (Manchester, for many of you) that they would like to be seen for acupuncture at Perfect Point Acupuncture.  Almost always, the VA office will honor this request.  Part of the rationale for this program is that usually vets would need to wait long periods of time to be seen for acupuncture in the VA office.  Of course, everyone receives the royal treatment at our office, so there are many reasons to want to have your acupuncture in one of our private treatment rooms.

Insurances.

We are in Network with United.  We are in Network with Harvard Pilgrim.  We are close, but not quite there with all the rest including Cigna, Aetna, and finally Anthem.   Anyone with Blue Cross and Blue Shield, I’m afraid will be a few months wait still.  I will be writing and updating as we hear back from the other companies – there are others I am forgetting to mention. Of course, you may have OUT OF NETWORK benefits, in which case, you may also be seen at our clinic and when we are in network with your company, soon, in most cases, we can switch to in-network with you.

Anyone is always welcome to come and pay our low “cash” rates too, which are $150 for the first office call and $85 for return office visits.

Open House

We are having an Open House this Sunday, September 10, from 9am-3pm.  We will all be there, kids and all, to meet people, if anyone wants to get a quick “mini” acupuncture treatment, tuina massage, or cupping, or even Core Synchronism, then it’s a good time to come in. We do not need registration for our open house, please just come by and say hello.  We are sharing this open house time with our neighbors down the hall, Sunshine Aesthetics, so you may pop in and see both of us this upcoming Sunday.

Our Grand Opening Special is now over, but if you come in to our Open House we will be passing out more 50% off First Office Call cards which you can use or give to a friend.

There is always plenty more to say but that’s it for now, with appreciation and best wishes to all of you. Links below.
